“These guys did great work on a buddy of mines g35. Work came out great. I went there today to get a quote my self and I was really surprised how great this place is. you get the down to earth small business feel with the professional standards. They have a secretary to take care of all of the phone calls as well set up appointments. I made an appointment to get come in and get a quote on my car. with in minutes they put it on the rack and he was able to discus my options right away. They were very up front about price, and he told me the other options I had that may actually be safer on my car. I even noticed that I had a small exhaust leak and the owner Steve said” wait a sec hold on” grabbed his welder and fixed it right away. I didn’t even come in for that, just to get a quote but these guys took care of me.

After seeing the work they did on my friends car, and how great they were with me I will definitely bring my car here to be worked on once I figure out some things on my end. NE ways if you want a pro to work on your cars exhaust definitely mash on down to this place.”

“The folks at West Coast Muffler are outstanding. I have been here several times for various auto repairs, and never once for anything relating to my muffler. I wouldn’t let their name steer you away. I have had some A/C issues repaired here, and once for a smog related repair.

They have always been proactive about advising me on all costs before doing any work, and they have identified other concerns and brought them to my attention. “I’ve been going to West Coast Muffler for many years, having had full brake jobs done, suspension work, and modifying my exhaust system adding Flow Masters.

West Coast has always done me right. They have always given me a good price, and have done excellent work. The last job they did was putting Flow Masters on my Suburban with a 454, with two exhaust tips coming out the back. The worker spent so much time making sure each tip was lined up exactly where it should be, I was kinda blown away. He made sure each tip was positioned exactly symmetrical with the other tip. And the truck sounds great. I get many compliments on it’s sound and asking me what I did.

On one occasion, I had just hooked up my 7,000 lb. boat to go on a 350 mile trip, and the master cylinder went bad. I called WC Muffler, and they got me in immediately, and repaired my truck, and I was out the door very quickly. We made the trip without any problems.

On another occasion I had them do an install for me, and I forgot one of the parts. They loaned me their truck so I could run home to get the part.

These guys are very good. I don’t know what happened in that other review, but that has NOT been my experience (or my friends experiences) at all. These guys know their stuff, and are up front and honest. They’ve even talked me out of work I wanted to do because they said it wasn’t necessary. Check out all of the hot rods and such that go there. They wouldn’t be in such high demand if they did what the other reviewer claimed – they would be out of busies.

I found these guys many years ago, when I asked my co-workers where to go to have exhaust system work done, and everyone at work (gear-heads) recommended them. And several of these guys lived in Fairfield and Vaccaville, but made the trek to get to WC Muffler.

I strongly recommend them. Go there (or call them), and talk to them. Then judge for yourself.

I think you’ll be another happy customer like me and the many co-workers that have had them work on their cars.”

“Ok, so my Saturn had a exhaust leak I thought. I took it to Certified Tire in Concord and left it. I got a call later fr,om them telling me that I had an exhaust leak at the manifold. Uh….yeah. I knew that so can you fix it? No they said , you gotta go to a muffler shop. Oh and by the way, its gonna be $62.50 for us to tell you that we cannot fix it. I took the car to Steve at West Coast. This cat used a stethoscope to find my exhaust leak!!!! He then told me that he could not get to it now and had to order parts since it was a holiday weekend and gave me a accurate quote to fix it. He also said that I did not owe him ANYTHING since I did not fix it. There were tons of custom hot rods all over and the place reeked of So-Cal hot rod heaven. I will take it back to him next week. This cat was decent, shop was spotless and he had integrity. Damn!!! A stethoscope on a Saturn. That is some wild Doogie Howser / Mr. Goodwrench far out stuff!!!!”

“This is my first review on yelp and its only fitting I review the first business in Concord that I have been happy with for years now. I have had west coast work on all of my trucks exhaust systems over the years and have brought in family members and even my sons truck as well. Steve is top notch and my exhaust is always installed or repaired perfect with great welds and supports. They also warranty their work and let me tell you a quick story.

Years ago I had exhaust redone on my truck and probably about a year later my exhaust tip was hanging after the strap broke. I brought it down to Steve and figuring it was going to be awhile as they were busy I was prepared to wait awhile. Not the case, he got my right in and fixed it and I never had a problem since. Thats customer service. I love the mom and pop store feel and service. As a local business owner I can appreciate his hard work and great customer service.

The best part about this shop is their honesty. Steve is about the most up and up guy you will find and is very by the book. No illegal work performed here. No scamming just hard working honest people.

West Coast will always have my business!!!
